She reinterprets Classical Turkish Arts and the legacy of the past in the language of contemporary painting: calligraphy, ebru, illumination and miniature meet real objects within abstract space.

“For me, the legacy of the past is not a value that has remained in the past and must merely be preserved; it is a living source that establishes a new relationship with the present and continues to exist by transforming within the language of contemporary art.”

She has held 49 solo exhibitions, and her works are in public and private collections in Türkiye and abroad.

2023

Atatürk Exhibition, Turkish House (Türk Evi), New York.

1987

First prize in painting, International Olympic Committee Painting and Sculpture Competition. The winning work is in the Olympic Museum, Lausanne.

1984

Second prize, İnönü Foundation Painting Competition.

Her works are in the Olympic Museum in Switzerland, the Istanbul Pera Museum (Suna – İnan Kıraç Collection), and the collections of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
